WISH for the Animal Shelter

As WISH students participated in their semester of learning, each class picked a specific cause to which they wanted to donate their time. Projects ranged from helping homeless youth to supporting Shelterbox, an organization that delivers the essentials to families in the immediate aftermath of a disaster (such as the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan).

Ms. Snider's kindergarten class held a vote, and decided as a group that they wanted to help the animals in our local animal shelter. They raised money by selling lemonade at the beach and at the car wash, and collected boxes of supplies to deliver to the West LA Care Center. See Ms. Snider's class in action helping the community in this great video.
