Throughout the school year, we provide a number of ways for our families to stay informed of the fun happening across all of our schools. Here is an overview of each:

 

• WISH Wise Weekly. Each Sunday afternoon or early evening, this newsletter is sent via email to the entire school community, and includes everything you need to know for the next several weeks. On Mondays, campus-specific newsletters are also sent out, with more directed info about what's going on at the elementary school, middle school, and Academy, respectively. If you are not currently receiving these emails and would like to, please contact the office manager at your campus.

• Bloomz. Classroom communication at the elementary school is distributed via Bloomz, a website and app that allows teachers to update parents on what their students are learning in the classroom, notify them of upcoming events, share photos, and send messages. Class Bloomz pages are only accessible to those families whose children are in that particular class. Your classroom teacher will invite you to join the page.

• WISH Community Association (WCA). The WCA is our whole WISH community, comprised of parents, caregivers, teachers, faculty, staff, students, and community members, who work together to provide the best programs and educational experiences for the young people we serve. The WCA meets every other month, hosts multiple events, organizes committees, and leads community education evenings. We are fortunate to have Raj Makwana, parent to a WISH Academy 11th grader, and Patti Scott, parent to a WISH Middle 7th grader and WISH Academy 10th grader, as WCA co-presidents.
